<h1>the tale of a movie&nbsp;ticket,<br />a dumb popcorn, and the drink&nbsp;sidekick</h1>

<p>once upon a time, 3 lifeless objects were given life, personality and a very important task: to recruit membership for TGV Cinemas' Movie Club. they spoke like surfer dudes to show how easy it was to earn points and score free tickets and&nbsp;popcorn.</p><p>with their silly charm (and those cute little legs), they won over 60,000 hearts in 3 months and eventually became the leading cinema loyalty programme in&nbsp;Malaysia. </p>

<p>it's nice when things simply work. to launch fujiaire's newest air care collection designed with minimalism in mind, we designed a whole new brand premise, activation collaterals and a video unlike&nbsp;any&nbsp;other.</p>

<h1>introducing the world's<br />1<sup>st</sup> smartglasses for&nbsp;airports </h1>

<p>the people who ran Changi Airport, Singapore had just innovated augmented reality glasses that would propel ramp efficiency by leaps and bounds. we were the winning agency <i>(against regional competitors)</i> to create the launch gambit and event&nbsp;creatives.</p>

<p>for a more immersive experience, a panoramic, full&nbsp;LED&nbsp;screen&nbsp;was&nbsp;used.</p>

<h2>opening video</h2>

<p>after watching a short snippet from 'The Matrix', VIPs were asked to choose between an actual red&nbsp;and&nbsp;blue&nbsp;pill.</p><p>choosing the 'wrong pill' would transport everyone into the new reality - as depicted in this video, played after red lights and sirens went off in&nbsp;the&nbsp;ballroom.</p>

<h1>hiring 'ah longs' to put people to sleep</h1>

<p>Malaysians were hugely in 'debt' and it was time to do something about it. to rebrand Dreamland as the Caring Sleep Expert, we leveraged on this insight and called in the experts of getting&nbsp;attention: <br class='desktop' />a family of pyjamas&#45;clad&nbsp;<i>ah&nbsp;longs</i>. </p><p>audiences were led to uncover their 'debts' and asked to pay up by a particular date and time. when the deadline arrived, we launched the new Dreamland much to&nbsp;everyone's&nbsp;surprise.</p><p><i>P/s: no monetary payments were received on the day. it's a sleep debt we're talking about! what&nbsp;were&nbsp;you&nbsp;thinking?</i></p>

<p>if you've been sleeping late, pyjamas gang's main <i>ah long</i> has a message for you. don't&nbsp;play&nbsp;play.</p>

<p>what's scarier than an <i>ah long?</i> his father. if pyjamas <i>ah long</i> didn't do anything for you, wait till you see grandpa <i>ah long's</i> message. don't mess with angry old men in&nbsp;sarongs,&nbsp;peeps.</p>

<p>and so… after 3 weeks of 'threatening', the truth was finally revealed: that it was simply a ploy all along to make Malaysians aware of their sleep debt, and to welcome them to better sleep from now on with the&nbsp;new&nbsp;Dreamland.</p>

<p>radio ads featuring pyjamas <i>ah long</i> also took the airwaves by storm during teaser stage, acting as a disruptive reminder to pay up on&nbsp;launch&nbsp;day.</p>

<p>on the final deadline to pay, the pyjamas gang teaser site became the all-new Dreamland&nbsp;website.<br />and calls to pay were literally put&nbsp;to&nbsp;rest.</p>

<h1>to market <i>this</i> ball&nbsp;pen,<br />we went head-on with rugby&nbsp;players</h1>

<p>Speedx was Faber-Castell's newest ballpoint pen with a tip like no other. to demonstrate how its cushion tip comforted hard writing pressure, we went head-on with raging&nbsp;rugby&nbsp;players.</p><p>don't worry, no one got <i>pen</i>-ing in&nbsp;the&nbsp;making.</p>

TVC & Launch Campaign, NEO Slim Print Ad & Catalogue

<h1>never underestimate<br />what one print ad can&nbsp;do</h1>

<p>at a time when the marketing mantra was 'go digital or die', this ad by BlueScope <i>(a leading manufacturer of steel roofs and frames)</i> proved that there was no need to be so&nbsp;dramatic.</p><p>instead, it showed how the good ol' advertising principle of 'saying the right thing, at the right time, and the right place' still rang blaringly true. the results raked in by this one ad <i>(that ran only once)</i>, was&nbsp;proof.</p>

<p>a product packaging change can be a really nerve-wrecking exercise. even with huge sums invested, there's no guarantee as to how the market will respond. heck, even plastic surgery would have more&nbsp;assured&nbsp;results.</p><p>but Spritzer TINGE was bold enough to take the leap. with a change in brand positioning from fun to positivity, we gave TINGE a completely new look and personality. once it hit the shelves, let's just say it made a&nbsp;real&nbsp;splash.</p>
